Pink Shoes Leave Positive Footprints...

March 2017

Women in Parliament

We enjoyed a unique look behind the scenes of both Houses with Jill Pay, who was the first female Serjeant at Arms. Firstly an interactive roundtable in conversation with some of the women running different aspects of Parliament. We gained an insight into the workings of the House including the library, IT, Vote 100 project and the doorkeepers this was a fascinating event revealing the many different roles available to women in Parliament. The roundtable was followed by refreshments and networking.
