We enjoyed a unique look behind the scenes of both Houses with Jill Pay, who was the first female Serjeant at Arms. Firstly an interactive roundtable in conversation with some of the women running different aspects of Parliament. We gained an insight into the workings of the House including the library, IT, Vote 100 project and the doorkeepers this was a fascinating event revealing the many different roles available to women in Parliament. The roundtable was followed by refreshments and networking.
Hosted by The Earl of Erroll along with Craig Tracey MP, chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Women & Enterprise, this year the subject for our Global Entrepreneurship Week roundtable was ‘Growing a business with innovation, collaboration, excellence and teamwork’. The discussion with leading entrepreneurs was chaired by Katherine Corich, Founder of Sysdoc, with speakers including Maggie Berry, director of WEConnect Europe.
Pink Shoe, together with the Enterprise Research Centre, held its third highly successful International Forum at The Shard. #FQ3 was generously supported by EY and Addidi. Keynote speaker was The Rt Hon Caroline Dineage MP and the event was hosted by Pink Shoe Founder Helene Martin Gee along with Jill Pay, who leads on the UK Economic Blueprint for Women. After an engaging welcome from ERC’s Professor Stephen Roper we were honoured to hear from Jennifer Bisceglie, President of our US partner Quantum Leaps,who flew into London especially to join us.
